• About Tiers

    The Tiers program is IMVU's way of acknowledging Creators for their contributions. The program is designed to support our engaged community by measuring activity. The more you do, the better your result will be. Everyone can excel in the Tiers program. This is a passive system of earned rewards, based on what you want to do naturally. It's your choice.

    Benefits

    Increasing your Creator Tier level comes with perks! We are always looking for ways to support our most dedicated creators. Here are the benefits we currently offer:


    1. 7% per Tier level discount on product submission.
    2. Increased credit transfer limits.
    3. Tier levels 7 and above are awarded Pro Creator status.

    Categories

    The Tiers program goes from level 0 (New Creators) to level 10. All Creators earn tier points based on 2 activity categories.

    2. Sales
    New to Creating? You can also earn Bonus Points while making products for your shop and building your brand.

    Points

    Your Sales category and Bonus Points can earn you sets of 5, 10, 20, or 30 points, based on your activity in the last 30 days. Your Creation category can earn you sets of 5, 10, 20, 30, or 45 points.

    Using IMVU Studio gets you more Tier Points

    Gain extra Creation Tier value for creating and submitting products in IMVU Studio. IMVU Classic (Client) Products have not lost any Tier value, we are simply giving additional value to IMVU Studio products.

    Maximum Points

    The maximum points available for the Creation category and Bonus Points is 45 points. The maximum for the Sales category is 70 points. As you progress, your product creation and sales for the months will count more towards your Tier level.

    30 Day Period

    Your total points are tallied once per month to determine your Tier for that month. The level is recalculated every 30 days. During that period you'll have access to any benefits you've gained because of your Tier level. The higher your level, the better benefits you earn.

    Minimum Requirements

    Each Tier level has a minimum requirement of sellable items in your catalog.

    • Tier 1: 1+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog
    • Tier 2: 2+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog
    • Tier 3: 5+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog
    • Tier 4: 10+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog
    • Tier 5: 15+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog
    • Tier 6: 20+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog
    • Tier 7: 30+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog
    • Tier 8: 60+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog
    • Tier 9: 120+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog
    • Tier 10: 180+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable items in catalog

    In addition, Tiers 8, 9 and 10 require sellable products submitted in the last 60 days.

    • Tier 8: 1+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable products submitted in the last 60 days
    • Tier 9: 5+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable products submitted in the last 60 days
    • Tier 10: 10+ sellable or "Display Only" derivable products submitted in the last 60 days

    Important Details

    • - New Creator Shields - on July 29, 2021 we introduced a new set of shields that more accurately represent Creator milestones and activities. More information can be found here.
    • - Not all products are equal - Meshes receive more points than textures. If a mesh contains a texture, the product will be counted as a mesh.
    • - "Display Only" Derivable Products - products that are "Display Only" but set as Derivable, count towards the sellable products requirement (and Sales (derived)).
    • - No ZCDs - Zero Change Derivations (ZCDs) are not counted towards Creation metrics when calculating Tier points.
    • - No Comparing - Creators are no longer being compared to each other when calculating Tier points.
    • - Greeter & Community Volunteers - examples include Greeters and Moderators, etc. Does not include participation in the IMVU Help Center (https://support.imvu.com/support/home).
    • - Sales - with the exception of "Income (credits and/or $), all Sales metrics include predit sales.

    Everyone can earn their way to Tier level 10 within 30 days, but staying there forever is a different matter. Tier levels can go up or down depending on what you did in the past month, but always take at least two months to drop.
